Sophie Appel is a poet, curator, and archivist currently residing in Los Angeles, California. She is the founder of Melrose Botanical Garden, an art gallery and project space in Los Angeles & works as a historical map archivist for the David Rumsey Map Collection. She hosts a monthly poetry radio show, “Spit in the Ocean” on Lower Grand Radio.
